*With special thanks to Diissee for the weekly screen caps and video clips (found in the media thread) -
Join host Ruby Rose and the students of Essendon Keilor College in Melbourne as they prepare for the Ultimate School Musical.
Working under vocal coach Anthony Callea, director Eddie Perfect (Shane Warne: The Musical) and choreographer Kelly Aykers - the students will stage a full production of FAME-The Musical
Along the way they will be lucky enough to have a little guidance from artists including The Veronicas and Delta Goodrem along with mega producer John Frost and international choreographer, Australia's own, Kelly Abbey.
Over ten weeks, share this experience with the students as they sing, dance and act their way into your living rooms and hearts.

Aria Award winning singer Anthony Callea has definitely cemented his name in Australia as one of this country?s favourite and most recognised singers and performers. In 2004 his debut single The Prayer became Australia?s fastest and highest selling single of all time with sales in excess of 4 x platinum and was at the top of the charts for an amazing 5 weeks.
In 2005 Anthony followed his debut single with another multi-platinum number 1 single Rain/Bridge Over Troubled Water and a self-titled multi-platinum number 1 album. Anthony again scored himself another two top 10 hits off his debut album with Hurts so Bad and Per Sempre. He embarked on an international song writing trip for his sophomore album A New Chapter which was accredited Gold, that featured two top 20 singles with Live for Love and Addicted To You. Anthony also released a Live Concert DVD which debuted at No 3 on the Aria DVD Charts and went Platinum and later screened as a television music special on Foxtel.
Anthony has embarked on two of his own successful national concert tours to sell-out crowds and appeared as special guest for touring international superstars including Ms Diana Ross, Westlife, Celine Dion and more recently Whitney Houston. Anthony has also performed for a host of international dignitaries including the late Luciano Pavarotti, Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and the Duke of Edinburgh, Prince Frederik and Princess Mary of Denmark.
Anthony say?s ?I am thrilled to be apart of the FOX 8 Ultimate School Musical, working with these kids, passing on what I know from my experiences and watching them embrace such an amazing theatrical opportunity and moment in their lives. This is definitely a show that I am proud to be apart of.?

TV rock chic Ruby Rose hits Essendon Keilor College in Melbourne to find a bunch of talented kids to perform the musical Fame. The kids will have to sing and dance their way to acting auditions?.it?s not just about finding the most talented?it?s about stepping up and taking on a once in a lifetime opportunity!
50 hopefuls from Melbourne?s Essendon Keilor College front up to the school for the last round of auditions. But selecting the cast of ?Fame? is no easy feat for Ruby Rose and her team. Who from the final 50 will earn a place in the show? ?..and in the biggest show stopper of all, where will they be staging the one and only performance?
It?s the first day of intensive rehearsals and with only six days until the kids from EKC hit the Regent Theatre stage, there?s not a moment to lose. Host Ruby Rose and her team are gearing up for the kid?s first performance in front of musical theatre heavyweights, John Frost and Kelly Abbey. But during rehearsals the kids just aren?t cutting it. The coaches are so annoyed with the lazy performances and behavior, they pull the pin. But with John and Kelley on their way, will today?s performance still go ahead?
The countdown is on with only five days to go ?til the kids from EKC hit the Regent Theatre stage. TV rock chic Ruby Rose and her team are keen to improve on yesterday?s dismal performance so they jump on day 2 of rehearsals with gusto. The coaches call on the help of some special guests as they attack dance routines, New York accents, and the showstopper number, Fame. Cracks start to appear with injuries, sickness and lots of bad attitude in the lead up to yet another end of day performance for musical theatre gurus John Frost and Kelley Abbey.
It?s just 4 days until the kids from EKC hit the Regent Theatre stage?and after the huge wrap from John Frost and Kelley Abbey, everyone is on a high?.but not for long. An over confident cast produce a very average rehearsal. It?s enough tip choreographer Kelly Aykers over the edge! Throw in some 80?s Fame fashion and a visit from the king of street dance Nacho Pop, and it?s a day the kids will never forget!
With only three days until the kids from EKC hit the Regent Theatre, everyone?s feeling the pressure. The coaching team are gearing up for the kid?s final performance in front of musical theatre heavyweights, John Frost and Kelley Abbey, who are yet to be impressed. With costume fittings, vocal coaching and choreographic changes to be squeezed in to an already tight day, the kids are getting tired and for leading lady Alicia, it?s all too much. With time running out, the kids have got to push through and produce the goods. But will it be good enough to get the thumbs up from John Frost and Kelley Abbey?
It?s the final day of intensive rehearsals, and in two days time the students of Essendon Keilor College will perform Fame the Musical at the Regent Theatre in front of 2000 people. But after yesterdays shocking run through, Ruby Rose has called an emergency rehearsal day. All hands on deck before they leave the school for good and head into the city to the Regent Theatre for the very first time.
No more school gym, no more practice. Today the kids hit the Regent Theatre for a technical and a dress rehearsal. Tomorrow is the big performance, so they have just one day to pull it all together. But the reality of what they?re about to do is too much for a couple of the main players. Will all the cast go on or will they cave in under pressure?
No more school, no more practice, no more excuses??Tonight, it?s the culmination of weeks of hard work when the kids of Essendon Keilor College perform FAME at the Regent Theatre, in front of an audience of 2000. This is their moment of Fame. It?s showtime!
But that?s not all??be prepared for the twist that no-one saw coming!
The kids from Essendon Keilor College have performed their version of Fame the musical, but it?s not over yet. Tune in for an unexpected surprise!
