It was a beautifully sunny day at Robina today and I thought the weather and the location of the stage, in front of a lake, made for a nice atmosphere.
 When Anthony came out he commented he'd been rehearsing for the Australian Idol Grand Final and said he'd put in his vote for Jess.    He performed Live for Love, Addicted to You and Perfect Mistake. I personally thought he seemed relaxed while performing which was excellent to see as it was all the more enjoyable. The speaker system crackled a little and dropped out for a second or so a couple of times but Anthony sang flawlessly and was all smiles. I so love hearing him sing and when watching him live I feel I appreciate his vocal ability all the more.   I'd love to see Perfect Mistake released because I get a kick out of the lyrics and love the song. Of the three that was the best. It's such a terrific song. We went through the signing and amongst other things I told Anthony that I felt the songs he wrote had lived up to expectation and that I hoped he was going to sing something uptempo and rocky that he wrote tomorrow. I am keen to have everyone get to hear this other side of the album, and the songs he has written, because they are so well done. Anyway, he was attentive, warm and friendly to us and we thought he was a nice guy. An enjoyable day all round! |

Thanks Ro, he does look so much more relaxed than ever and its great to see.
Did he answer you about what he is singing tomorrow.. I wished they had promoted the Instore a bit more, but still it looks like a great day and everyone got to meet him. --------------------  |

He cheekily said I'd have to wait to find out, but he's said that in response to a question I asked once before and that turned out not to happen. I'm not getting my hopes up but will be very disappointed if he doesn't because it's the biggest opportunity in the whole year to show a large audience that there are songs on the album different not only to Live for Love but the last album! Songs I think people are more likely to want the album for.

I was thinking maybe they can only perform songs they have released, I also hope he is doing another song to show off his versatiliy he really is just sooo good.
